A timeless style, updated for modern pioneers by &SONS
With a classic workwear silhouette and authentic worn-in patina, the Blue Bolt Chore Jacket from British brand &SONS is a throwback to the classic French blue work jacket, though with some notable upgrades for the 21st century. Fashioned from soft, heavy cotton twill with a dash of Elastine, this jacket is far comfier than its continental ancestors and allows a greater range of movement. Those large pockets stitched onto the front aren’t just for show, though - this jacket has been designed with practical, creative work in mind.
Our homage to the classic French Blue Work jacket - the BLUE BOLT is a simple box cut Cotton jacket that we’ve put through numerous washes to produce an authentic ‘worn in’ fade and patina to the indigo-dyed Cotton twill.
Unlike the stiff hard cut French work jackets of the 1800’s - The BLUE BOLT is a much softer, tactile cloth that is comfortable to wear, with freedom of movement while being hard-wearing enough for work.
A Bolt of Blue amongst the crowd…
